3. A all in one wristlet where I can store my iphone 5, cash, and id!

4. Spibelt that I wore on Sunday’s long run. Carried my iphone, gel, headphones, and ID card. Bonus: It didn’t bounce while I was running.

5. Political Theory. Its the second day of my political theory class and I already love it! The content is extremely dense but my professor explains it in a clear maner.

6. I tried to do my first tempo run today on the treadmill but sort of failed. I wanted my average minute mile to be 8:34 but it ended up being 9:16 average. Hey at least I did it. Also I am not a fan of taking pictures at the gym but I just had to snap this picture picture of my stats.

I like the music choice. Are they an icelandic band? Someone explained to me on my Sunday long run how to do tempo runs so I am starting to incorporate them into my runs. (After 9 weeks later haha)

Yes, they are from Iceland. The amazing thing is the two musicians are about 14 years old. If they can write such great music now, imagine in a few years! Congrats on starting the tempo runs. They will absolutely help you in your races to be stronger and hold a faster pace for longer.

I absolutely love tempo runs btu they’re hard! Don’t get down on yourself! I ususally try to have a goal pace in mind and then run by feel, paces can feel different day-to-day and you don’t want to injure yourself by overexterting!

They are really hard! I came off the treadmill and my face looked like a tomato. I think for the remaining 2 1/2 weeks left of training I will try to do some more tempo runs and not get discouraged. I definitely dont want to get injured thanks for the advice :) .
