Good Morning everyone!
I have been recently on a Green Monster Smoothie Kick! What is a Green Monster you ask?
Well its a smoothie with kale or spinach mixed in it. Kale and Spinach provides lots of vitamins that help nourish the vitamins and protein founded in your skin and nails.
I recently bought Kale and I am obssessed with it! I am starting to put it in my salads, smoothies, and I may try making kale chips!
Anyways I digress
Here is the Green Monster Smoothie Recipe!
This smoothie looks more appetizing than it does in the picture.
Green Monster Smoothie
1 Frozen Banana (cut up a banana into slices, put them in a plastic bag and store them in the freezer over night)
1 cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1/4 cup of Fage 0% Greek Yogurt
1 cup of Kale
1 tsp of Cinnamon
Put everything in a blender and blend until all the ingredients are mixed in perfectly!
Also I got done with my first Orange Theory Fitness Class! It was a blast!
For the first 20 or so minutes we were on the treadmills. They had different guidelines for people with different fitness abilities. I did the runner base. The runner base was 2 minutes easy of 5.5 mph or up and the Power up was 2 mph above my easy pace and the All Out is 1 mph up!
I managed to run 2.63 miles for 26 minutes! 9:47 min/mile. When were doing an all out pace my speeds ranged from 8.0 mph up to 8.5 mph!

After 20 or so minutes on the treadmills we hopped over to the rowing machines. We had to row 800-900 meters in 5:00 minutes. IT WAS SO FREAKING HARD! I managed to get up to 750 so I was below what the expectations were. Oh well!
After the rowing machine the instructor gave us three various strength training exercises to do for 7 minutes.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good challenging workout!
